There are times in everyone's life when problems can become overwhelming and interfere with our ability to              function well and feel good. It can affect our work, relationships, and most importantly---our own joy and peace
  of mind.
      If you are stressed, worried, anxious, etc., it can help to consult with an experienced, approachable, warm
  and practical therapist. I want you to feel heard, understood and validated. I do my best to create a safe and
  comfortable atmosphere. Together we can look at sensitive issues in a non-judgmental way. I can offer
  perspective, challenge, insight, support, hope, and an impartial viewpoint in a confidential setting.

   I help adults who are dealing with any of the following:
      *anxiety, worry, emotional overwhelm.
      *irritability and emotional reactivity.
      * sadness, grief, depression.
      * stressful life circumstances.
      *relationship difficulties and unhealthy patterns.
      *life transitions, from the early 20's and midlife and older adults adjusting to being retired, and the changes
        at come at the later stage of adult life with it's different roles and challenges.

   Counseling is not always quick or easy, but for most people it can provide relief and lead to positive change.
   No one is without challenges at some point in their life.  Get some support, gain perspective on your
   situation, and start feeling better.
   I mostly work in person and think it's more effective, but online can be used as a backup in certain situations.
